Programme

The Treasure Kindy pre-kindergarten programme is designed to promote children's knowledge and skills in all developmental areas: cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and aesthetic. Each year's unique programme is developed after observation of the individual children in the group. Our programme promotes self-confidence through successful play and learning experiences, and is custom designed to meet the needs and interests of your pre-kindergarten child.

Philosophy

Treasure Kindy provides a rich and creative environment where children have the time and space to play, learn and thrive. Educational learning is integrated into all areas of our Kindy experience. Treasure Kindy fosters your child's natural inquisitiveness, so that they can further develop their skills and knowledge. Treasure Kindy provides a nurturing, safe and secure environment, in both the physical and emotional sense.

Our Team

Treasure Kindy is staffed by fully qualified Early Childhood Educators: Our Pre- Kindy teacher is Sheila King - a University trained Early Childhood Teacher who graduated in 1983. Sheila's teaching experience includes Perth, as well as rural WA and the United Kingdom. This is enhanced by her experience as a mother of two children. Sheila is supported by our wonderful Educational Assistant, Shelley Jamieson, who is also Edith Cowan University, trained and a mother of three children.
